Integration Solution Architect (Healthcare)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; eligible for the Flex Persona for candidates local to the Boston and Hingham offices

Salary: $174,510–$213,290 per year, plus eligibility for variable pay

What you will do

• Lead architecture and design for enterprise integration, API, event-driven, and interoperability initiatives.
• Define and govern architecture patterns, standards, and best practices across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Review solution designs, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct proof-of-concepts for integration, interoperability, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Translate strategic business and technology objectives into scalable solutions with engineering, product, security, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, integration, or solution architecture, including 3+ years leading architecture discussions, solution reviews, and enterprise technology decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale integration and API architectures.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, distributed systems, OAuth, SAML, and mTLS.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud technologies, integration platforms, API management, and container technologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare domains such as claims, enrollment, eligibility, referrals, prior authorization, or interoperability.

Nice to have

• AWS, cloud, architecture, or Agile certifications.
• Experience with Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu, OpenShift, or AWS EKS.
