Lead Enterprise Architect (Healthcare)

Location: Remote US; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $142,300–$195,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Align business vision, technology strategy, and IT portfolio execution to deliver improved member experiences and health outcomes.
• Advocate for business needs within IT and bring business, architecture, engineering, project management, and leadership stakeholders to a common understanding.
• Support enterprise technology modernization initiatives through architecture guidance, execution support, and portfolio rationalization.
• Develop value-stream, business-capability, technology-capability, and current-state architecture models and roadmaps.
• Define enterprise architecture principles, standards, policies, methodologies, reference architectures, and governance guidance.
• Evaluate and prototype cloud services, platforms, tools, and technologies to reduce risk, complexity, and operating costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead on large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems.
• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications.
• Expertise in enterprise integration, system decomposition, refactoring, cloud migration, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and event-driven architectures at scale, along with technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of lean-agile delivery and healthcare payer domains including Medicare, Medicaid, Group, and Specialty.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Associate or Professional solution architecture certification in Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Experience with cloud, AI technologies, or enterprise architecture.
• Project leadership and consulting experience.
