Location: Maryland, Washington, DC, or Virginia preferred, with weekly visits to the Reston, VA office. Candidates in West Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Texas, or Florida may be considered with monthly visits to the Reston, VA office.

hirify.global is hiring for a healthcare payer-focused architecture role connecting enterprise and application architecture teams.

What you will do

• Translate healthcare payer business needs into enterprise and solution architecture designs for claims or enrollment capabilities.
• Develop current, interim, and target-state architecture viewpoints, models, patterns, standards, and reusable domain assets.
• Lead design reviews, architecture documentation, implementation collaboration, and presentations to the Architecture Review Board.
• Evaluate solution and product designs, vendors, tooling, RFIs, RFPs, and proposals against domain and IT strategies.
• Ensure performance, reliability, security, regulatory, and compliance requirements are addressed across solutions.
• Collaborate with business, technical, architecture, SDLC, and partner teams while coaching architects and engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Healthcare industry experience in claims or enrollment domains.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, API/Web Services, Angular/UX, DB2, and AWS Cloud.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and deliver architecture in a SAFe/Agile framework.
• Expertise in architecture frameworks, methods, tools, technical roadmaps, design documentation, and cross-domain solutions.

Nice to have

• Mainframe technology experience.
• Exposure to AI/ML.
