Location: Hybrid, with in-office work three days per week within Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah.
Salary: Solutions Architect I expected hiring range of $114,000–$143,000/year, with a full range of $114,000–$186,000/year and a 15% bonus target. Solutions Architect II expected hiring range of $140,000–$175,000/year, with a full range of $140,000–$228,000/year and a 20% bonus target.

What you will do
- Design scalable and secure architectures for member authentication, authorization, clinical applications, and healthcare integrations.
- Lead technical strategy across enterprise platforms, vendor solutions, integration layers, web, mobile, and data platforms.
- Analyze business requirements, data access, security, performance, archiving, recovery, and solution design needs.
- Establish performance benchmarks, monitoring strategies, reference architectures, and architecture governance practices.
- Document solutions in the enterprise architecture modeling environment and translate stakeholder feedback into technical direction.
- Provide technical leadership to business teams and mentor developers on implementation and delivery strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus at least seven years of IT experience.
- At least two years of technical leadership and architecture experience.
- For Solutions Architect I: at least three years designing end-to-end solutions in complex environments; for Solutions Architect II: at least five years designing complex, enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong understanding of health insurance and healthcare operations, including care management, utilization management, appeals, clinical programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability and data exchange patterns such as FHIR, HL7, X12/EDI, or equivalent approaches; API design, AWS, SQL, and complex integrations.
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant solution design, authentication and authorization systems, vendor platforms, BPM, business rules engines, data pipelines, user interfaces, and microservices.

- Advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting solutions used by members, providers, care teams, clinicians, operational staff, and external partners.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies for productivity and decision-making.
