Solutions Architect 2 (Cloud)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States. Hybrid workplace with work from home available up to two days per week upon eligibility.

What you will do

• Define, design, and implement technology reference architectures, reusable components, and core application frameworks.
• Design secure, robust, and scalable systems across n-tier platforms using web and cloud-based application services.
• Develop enterprise architecture strategies, processes, methodologies, models, standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Promote reusable enterprise solutions based on Domain-Driven Design and integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Research new architectural strategies, lead proof-of-concept initiatives, and support application development with new technologies.
• Define application architecture strategies for cloud migration and help modernize legacy processes through cloud, DevOps, and delivery improvements.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of software engineering and application development experience, including at least 3 years in enterprise, application, technical, or information architecture.
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology is strongly preferred; equivalent IT and leadership experience may be considered.
• Experience in Agile software development environments using CI/CD and DevOps.
• Experience with web UI technologies, multiple JavaScript frameworks including Angular, React, and Node, as well as microservices, NoSQL, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Service Fabric, and Logic Apps.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, certificates, encryption, and OWASP.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.
