Licensed Insurance Agent, Retention (Insurtech)

Location: In-office position based in Columbus, Ohio, United States

Base salary: $24.23–$32.69; monthly variable bonus target: $3,500.

What you will do

• Conduct renewal reviews, advise existing customers on coverage, answer questions, and re-shop policies when requested.
• Process endorsements and provide guidance on claims-related items.
• Sell additional insurance products and rewritten policies where applicable.
• Build rapport with customers through phone, email, and text.
• Manage organized notes, follow-up tasks, and consistent sales processes.
• Meet targets for calls, cross-sales, retention, and call quality.

Requirements

• Active Personal Lines License in the candidate’s resident state is required; a Property and Casualty License is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
• Comfort with a sales-driven environment.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States now and in the future.
• Visa sponsorship is not offered.
