Director, Human Resources - Manufacturing

Location: Onsite in Corona, California, with responsibility for the manufacturing facility in Corona and distribution center in San Bernardino

Salary: $168,000–$225,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the onsite HR team and act as the strategic HR partner to plant and distribution leadership.
• Maintain a visible presence on factory and distribution floors across shifts, functions, and employee levels.
• Lead the people side of operational transformation and support adoption of new ways of working.
• Own workforce planning, headcount forecasting, skills readiness, talent pipelines, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Strengthen frontline leadership, accountability, performance, engagement, culture, and employee experience.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Legal, and site leaders on workforce effectiveness, employee relations, investigations, leave and accommodation matters, workers’ compensation, and compliance.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of progressive HR management experience, including 5+ years leading HR in a manufacturing setting.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of manufacturing operations, production cycles, distribution workflows, shift work, and high-volume employee relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Organizational or Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of California employment laws and applicable federal labor, employment, safety, and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with enterprise-wide HRIS programs, behavioral and strategic interviewing, performance management, and workforce data analytics.
• Executive presence and credibility to influence plant, distribution, and senior leadership in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• PHR, SPHR, GPHR, or a similar certification.
• Bilingual English and Spanish fluency.
• Experience supporting larger, complex manufacturing sites and leading through growth, change, or operational complexity.
