Director, HR Consulting & Strategy

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time, onsite role

Base salary: $150,000–$185,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and potential long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Partner with management and business units on HR strategy, organizational priorities, and employee-related needs.
• Coach leaders and provide consultation on performance management, career development, disciplinary actions, and corrective measures.
• Manage complex employee relations cases and conduct thorough, objective investigations.
• Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop programs, policies, and business solutions.
• Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, training needs, and recruiting requirements.
• Manage assigned staff, vendor services, HR initiatives, and ongoing Workday and policy support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 8+ years of Human Resources experience, including resolving employee relations issues.
• Working knowledge of compensation, performance management, employment law, labor relations, inclusion programs, organizational effectiveness, talent management, workforce planning, and analytics.
• Strong consulting, conflict management, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
• Ability to support multiple business units and work independently while collaborating across the HR organization.

Nice to have

• SHRM-CP certification.
• PHR certification from HRCI.
• Asset management industry experience.
