Senior UX Designer (OSINT)

Location: Hybrid in Reston, VA or Somerville, MA

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end UX design from discovery and concept development through delivery and continuous optimization.
• Translate user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
• Shape product strategy and roadmap decisions using user research, customer insights, analytics, and design thinking.
• Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and visual designs.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering on requirements, workflow gaps, edge cases, UX epics, stories, and feasible delivery.
• Advance accessibility, design systems, UX governance, design critique, research workshops, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• 8+ years designing digital products in enterprise, B2B SaaS, government, or similarly complex environments.
• Experience leading complex software products from concept through launch and iterative improvement.
• Expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, information architecture, and usability testing.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, prototyping, design systems, documentation, and collaboration workflows.
• Strong understanding of ADA/WCAG accessibility standards and experience applying accessibility requirements to product design.
• Experience working with engineering teams in Agile environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, Jira, and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with intelligence, analytics, data visualization, cybersecurity, defense, or mission-critical applications.
• Familiarity with OSINT workflows and investigative user personas.
• Experience leading user research and translating findings into product strategy.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design or development workflows, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or shadcn/ui.
