Intermediate UX Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Toronto office at 351 King St E, Suite 1100, Toronto, Ontario

Salary: CAD 90,000–108,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus and/or commission

What you will do

• Design user experiences for cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics products.
• Use Figma Make, Claude Code, Replit, and traditional UX methods to ideate, prototype, and explore solutions.
• Critically evaluate AI-generated designs for accessibility, usability, design quality, and alignment with design systems.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing, incorporating findings into iterative design improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define solutions and translate design artifacts into implementation.
• Help evolve AI-assisted design practices, auditor journeys, and component evaluation standards.

Requirements

• Approximately 2–3 years of professional UX design experience and a portfolio demonstrating design thinking and decision-making.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, or Replit, including prompting, output evaluation, and refinement.
• Proficiency with Figma, prototyping platforms, responsive design, and component-based design systems.
• Experience planning and running user research and usability testing.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and the ability to identify compliance and usability gaps.
• Excellent communication skills, comfort with ambiguity, and an understanding of responsible AI principles in interaction design.
