Clinical Supervisor (Substance Use Treatment)

Location: On-site in Boise, Idaho, USA

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually plus bonus structure.

What you will do

• Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback and documentation for counselors working toward certification or licensure.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions and provide counseling required by regulations.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans, document patient contacts, and coordinate case-management follow-ups.
• Provide hands-on training through observation, case record reviews, peer file reviews, and weekly supervision sessions.
• Lead treatment team meetings, support caseload management, implement new programs, and coordinate care with community providers.
• Handle crisis interventions and ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.

Requirements

• Required licensure includes CADC-S, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Compliance with federal and state certification, licensure, and degree requirements.
• Knowledge of human behavior, rehabilitation of drug-dependent patients, substance abuse populations, and treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, sound judgment with confidential matters, and effective decision-making under stress.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and use basic computer and office equipment.
• Ability to work on-site in a medical office environment and interact with patients facing complex health, mental health, or criminal justice circumstances.
