Analyzer Technician (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Underwood Dr, Pasadena, Texas, United States; onsite, including work in indoor and outdoor plant environments.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on online analytical instrumentation.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation in line with site quality procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair analyzer systems to support reliable plant operation.
• Work with Operations, IEA, Maintenance, Reliability, and Production teams during routine operations, start-ups, upset conditions, and turnarounds.
• Support production reliability, equipment availability, environmental compliance, and plant safety targets.
• Participate in an on-call schedule covering weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of analyzer plant maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of gas chromatographs and experience with CEMS, TOC, and HACH analyzers.
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP PM, with strong computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of PSM and proficiency in root cause failure analysis.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, communication, problem-solving, data analysis, and safety skills.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Analyzer Technology or Analytical Instrumentation Technology.
• Level 2 Instrumentation Degree or Instrumentation Technology Enhanced Skills Certificate.
