Maintenance/HVAC Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and industrial mechanical equipment.
• Install, rebuild, clean, and maintain pumps, piping, compressors, heat exchangers, and other process equipment.
• Troubleshoot, align, adjust, and rebuild rotating equipment to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
• Maintain 480 VAC motor starters, VFDs, motors, 24 VDC and 120 VAC control circuits, instrumentation, control valves, and analyzers.
• Perform instrument calibrations and interpret P&IDs, loop sheets, electrical drawings, logic drawings, and ladder logic.
• Collaborate with operators, I&E technicians, engineers, consultants, and vendors while following safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of documented industrial maintenance experience in mechanical, E&I, or HVAC maintenance, with an associate degree, public or military technical training, or NCCER certification as applicable.
• Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts or rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, climb stairs and ladders, work at elevated heights, stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear required industrial protective equipment.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle check and physical.

Nice to have

• HVAC service experience with a certified HVAC company.
• Computer literacy, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Chemicals industry experience and knowledge of math, trend charts, and scale reading.
• Experience applying Lean methodologies to maintenance processes and implementing business systems.
• Planning, problem-solving, self-management, and teamwork skills.
