Maintenance Technician

Location: Clearwater, Florida, United States. Full-time onsite role working a 2-2-3 schedule on a 12-hour night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM.

What you will do

• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise for manufacturing plant equipment and support manufacturing and maintenance objectives.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain process machinery, facility equipment, robotics, forming equipment, and specialized systems.
• Perform and lead preventive maintenance and total preventive maintenance activities, including inspections for wear, misalignment, and improper lubrication.
• Use blueprints, manuals, specifications, and site conditions to plan repair procedures and corrective actions.
• Support process stability, continuous improvement, equipment reliability, launch activities, documentation, and training.
• Perform minor electrical and electronic work, as well as mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, crane, and rigging tasks while following safety requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance or a relevant field preferred, or equivalent education and relevant maintenance experience.
• At least one year of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, PCs, HMIs, AC and DC adjustable-speed drives, power distribution, hydraulic control systems, and related test equipment.
• Knowledge of power systems maintenance and AC/DC motors and drives.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, teaching, reporting, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Ability to meet plant safety requirements, including ANSI fall-protection expectations, and work onsite during the scheduled night shift.
