Maintenance Tech II

Location: Onsite at the Dubuque, Iowa headquarters, United States. Second shift, 1:30–11:30 p.m., four-day work week, with flexible hours, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and facility systems.
• Inspect equipment and machinery, identify wear or damage, and recommend repairs or replacement.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and systems while meeting safety standards.
• Respond to work orders, prioritize maintenance requests, and minimize operational disruptions.
• Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and collaborate with the maintenance team on complex issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• More than two years of hands-on experience in maintenance, equipment repair, or facilities management.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and equipment.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with CMMS for work orders and maintenance logs.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals; lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces and at heights.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial setting.
• Experience with sewing machines, auto cutter/spreaders, paint systems, welders, or machining equipment.
• Safety or environmental regulations certification.
