Production Engineer

Location: Chocolate Bayou Works, Alvin, Texas, United States; onsite role in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Salary: $78,800–$128,187 per year, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Provide daily technical support to operations and help maintain safe, stable, and efficient unit performance.
• Monitor process conditions and troubleshoot operating and equipment issues using data and engineering principles.
• Maintain Process Safety Management and environmental compliance through monitoring, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance during routine work, startups, shutdowns, and outages.
• Lead or support incident investigations, identify root causes, and close corrective actions.
• Manage Management of Change activities and support short-term optimization and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in process engineering, production or operations support, or plant engineering.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, utilities, or power generation.
• Knowledge of process engineering fundamentals, industrial systems, PSM principles, and OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Experience participating in or leading incident investigations, hazard analyses, or similar safety processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, safety, and attention-to-detail skills.
