Benefits Analyst (Employee Benefits)

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Perform financial analytics supporting employee benefits strategy, renewals, and client decisions.
• Prepare claims, data warehouse, utilization, contribution, benchmarking, stop-loss, GeoAccess, disruption, and renewal analyses.
• Support Financial Strategists with complex analytics and client deliverables.
• Facilitate renewal presentation meetings and conduct market research and funding analysis.
• Mentor junior analysts and lead small projects when needed.

Requirements

• Active Life & Health License.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of employee benefits experience with a broker or carrier.
• Basic financial modeling skills and an understanding of funding models and carrier dynamics.
• Core understanding of self-funded benefit plans.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, quality assurance, and operational excellence.
