Senior Supply Chain Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: In office in Portland, Oregon, United States. Travel up to 15% or as business needs require.

Base salary: $116,640–$145,800, dependent on experience and location.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end logistics and material expediting for major equipment packages supporting renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers on manufacturing schedules, technical deliverables, shipment planning, and equipment deliveries.
• Plan and execute domestic and international transportation, port operations, customs clearance, warehousing, and final delivery to project sites.
• Identify supply chain, production, transportation, logistics, and trade compliance risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Lead supplier progress reviews, performance tracking, status reporting, and executive-level communications.
• Monitor critical-path equipment, shipment forecasts, supply chain metrics, product-origin documentation, and project records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, construction management, logistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, engineering, procurement, construction, project management, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience managing logistics, transportation, material expediting, or supply chain operations for utility-scale renewable energy, power generation, transmission, industrial, or large capital projects.
• Knowledge of international trade compliance, customs regulations, import requirements, UFLPA, AD/CVD, Sections 201 and 301 of the Trade Act, tariffs, duties, and country-of-origin requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic document management systems.

Nice to have

• APICS/ASCM, CPSM, PMP, Certified Logistics Professional, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects.
• Experience with heavy-haul transportation, oversized cargo, port operations, international freight, and renewable energy equipment suppliers.
• Proficiency with Power BI, AI-enabled business applications, vessel tracking platforms, and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Experience developing executive-level supply chain dashboards and project reporting.
