Associate or Manager, Procurement (Renewable Energy)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Expected annual base salary: $110,000–$150,000, plus variable compensation including a year-end bonus.

What you will do

• Develop strategic supplier relationships and negotiate supply and service agreements for multiple equipment types.
• Support procurement of O&M services, long-term service agreements, warranties, and performance guarantees.
• Evaluate operability, maintainability, availability, and total cost of ownership across project lifecycles.
• Conduct international market research and help mitigate supply chain, regulatory, and performance risks.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, legal, development, finance, construction, operations, and asset management.
• Standardize procurement strategies, scopes of work, and commercial terms across the portfolio.

Requirements

• At least four years of relevant academic and professional experience.
• Proven experience in PV and BESS procurement.
• Experience supporting O&M providers, asset management teams, or long-term service strategies is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, track action items, meet fixed deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
• An undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Coursework or experience in finance, economics, or project management.
• PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma experience.
