Sourcing Project Specialist

Location: Welch, Minnesota, United States; up to 20% domestic travel required

Salary: $90,000–$120,567 per year

What you will do

• Lead sourcing for high-value, complex goods and services supporting capital projects of up to $50M.
• Define technical bid requirements, specifications, and specialized contract terms and conditions.
• Lead bidding events, proposal evaluations, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Create and manage sourcing project plans, coordinate supply chain resources, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance, commitments, milestones, contractual requirements, and project metrics.
• Administer contracts, manage risk and insurance documentation, resolve disputes, and mentor associate sourcing project specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, project management, business, finance, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of purchasing, sourcing, or logistics experience.
• Significant knowledge of contracts, negotiations, project management, sourcing, and supply chain management principles.
• Must pursue and maintain CPSM certification or an equivalent credential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and significant experience with purchasing and sourcing systems.
• Results-oriented, customer-focused, with strong interpersonal, relationship, and presentation skills.
