Project Executive (Electrical Construction)

Location: San Jose, California; onsite. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $195,000–$260,000 per year, paid weekly and commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate multiple electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Build client and design-community relationships and support business development and new-work acquisition.
• Develop high-performance teams through supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, financial performance, billing, cash flow, quality assurance, and change orders.
• Lead risk evaluation, contract negotiations, pricing decisions, safety enforcement, and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, project staff, and management while performing Project Manager duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of trade, education, and relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical construction technology, methods, equipment, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, accounting, and applicable codes.
• Experience with estimating; Accubid is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, organizational, customer-service, and business-development skills.

Nice to have

• LEED AP, PE, or OSHA 30 certification.
• Understanding of BIM and LEAN technologies.
• Experience reading architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
