Project Manager (Engineering)

Location: Rush, NY, United States

Salary: $106,563.77–$159,845.65 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead moderately complex and complex engineering projects from planning and development through delivery and operational handoff.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, budgets, schedules, and priorities.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and field operations teams.
• Manage client and internal stakeholder communication, including project status, risks, schedule impacts, and mitigation plans.
• Monitor financial, schedule, quality, and safety performance while supporting cost estimating, contract reviews, and change management.
• Identify risks, support corrective actions, and contribute to Lean process improvements and lessons learned.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of progressively advancing experience in engineering and project management.
• Experience managing complex industrial, automation, process, or capital equipment projects.
• Understanding of mechanical and process system build activities and project execution.
• Ability to coordinate technical teams and manage project deliverables.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and engineering or build software, along with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• PMP or Lean/Six Sigma certification.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, or industrial manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FEL methodologies and EPC/project delivery models.
