Strategy & Innovation Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; hybrid work with attendance at the Boston office two days per week

Salary: $78,120–$95,480 per year, plus variable pay

What you will do

• Conduct market research, gather consumer insights, and synthesize themes related to healthcare strategy and innovation.
• Identify business, customer, member, and stakeholder challenges and develop opportunities for innovative solutions.
• Support multidisciplinary teams in advancing initiatives through the innovation process, including prototyping and piloting technologies.
• Track and report on active initiatives in the innovation pipeline and portfolio.
• Research vendors, technologies, and market solutions to support build, buy, and partner recommendations.
• Prepare facilitation materials, research summaries, presentations, memos, and pitches for business leaders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience or a recent graduate with a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Foundational understanding of the healthcare landscape, health insurance industry, competitive dynamics, and emerging market trends.
• Familiarity with human-centered design and design thinking methodologies.
• Strong analytical, data analysis, problem-solving, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and iterative project management.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and solve complex, ambiguous challenges in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Internship or previous experience in healthcare, technology, or consulting.
• Additional knowledge or interest in healthcare or health insurance.
