Senior Business Operations Advisor (Medicare)

Location: Remote Flex - North Carolina

Salary: $89,174.00–$142,679.00 annually, plus an annual incentive bonus and total rewards benefits.

What you will do

• Provide business and operational leadership support for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement lines of business.
• Build repeatable business management processes supporting growth, profitability, compliance, and operational performance.
• Monitor Medicare value drivers, including Risk Adjustment, Star Ratings, CAHPS, provider performance, network effectiveness, retention, and membership growth.
• Lead special projects, change management activities, external engagements, and initiative tracking across departments and segments.
• Analyze trends, risks, opportunities, budgets, forecasts, and KPI progress to develop actionable recommendations.
• Strengthen stakeholder and vendor partnerships and coordinate executive, board, and external communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree where required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field; 7+ years may substitute for the degree.
• Ability to translate complex business, operational, and market data into executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Operations, Clinical, Network, Finance, Actuarial, Marketing, and Data & Analytics teams.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement business operations, product performance, growth initiatives, or market management.
• Knowledge of Risk Adjustment, Star Ratings, CAHPS, provider performance, quality programs, and operational excellence.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare product performance management, competitive market dynamics, and healthcare industry trends.
