Principal Business Intelligence Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; remote work with occasional onsite presence

Salary: $110,500–$123,300 per year

What you will do

• Lead 2–3 business intelligence projects simultaneously from scoping through delivery for multiple stakeholders.
• Identify business needs, create project charters, define scope, and lead requirements gathering.
• Identify data sources, define technical data requirements, write SQL queries, and develop data sources.
• Create visualization wireframes and build dashboards using business intelligence tools.
• Coordinate quality assurance and user acceptance testing, address stakeholder feedback, and provide training.
• Lead project delivery, direct the work of other contributors, and mentor senior analysts within communities of practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare.
• Expert SQL skills and expertise with business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
• Expertise navigating Epic Hyperspace, the Clarity Data Model, and data warehouses.
• Strong project management, client service, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Tableau certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Nice to have

• Prior Tableau certification.
• Experience with the Clarity Data Model.
