Business Process Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Primarily remote; candidates will be considered nationally in the United States

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives for Encounter Business Operations.
• Optimize encounter operations by aligning policies, processes, and technology.
• Provide policy guidance and maintain end-to-end process integrity.
• Organize work teams, establish project plans, facilitate meetings, build consensus, and oversee implementation.
• Analyze data, workflows, policies, procedures, staffing structures, and skills to develop potential solutions.
• Prepare organizational communications and support process improvement initiatives across multiple markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field.
• Experience training, presenting, and facilitating.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and present or explain findings through data storytelling.
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project.

Nice to have

• Experience working with encounter data and processes.
• Managed care or payer experience.
