P&D Lead Engineer (PCB)

Location: Dongguan, China; onsite role

What you will do

• Track emerging technologies in PCB manufacturing and share technical updates with internal teams.
• Analyze customer product roadmaps, PCB design characteristics, and manufacturing requirements to identify research and development directions.
• Lead technology research and development projects for high-layer-count PCBs and build competitive capabilities for high-speed applications.
• Collaborate with customers during early product development and support capability building for site engineering teams.
• Coordinate multiple functions to implement differentiated technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the PCB industry, including high-speed or high-frequency electronics, high-layer-count PCBs, copper-clad laminate, or PCB chemical processes.
• Experience in research and development and project management; R&D experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
• Knowledge of high-layer-count PCB manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability standards, and the impact of PCB manufacturing on signal integrity.
• Ability to communicate proactively and collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
