Production Leader (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: New Johnsonville, Tennessee, United States; onsite role

Salary: $97,843–$152,880 per year, plus annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead safe, environmentally compliant, reliable operation of process equipment, including high-hazard and PSM-covered systems.
• Coordinate daily and weekly production activities across multiple shifts to meet production plans, customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Act as the primary Operations contact for production priorities, operational risks, constraints, and cross-functional coordination.
• Improve safety, environmental, quality, reliability, production, cost, and schedule performance.
• Develop operational plans with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Technical, and EHS teams, and support capital projects and Readiness to Operate activities.
• Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, Management of Change, Process Hazard Analyses, audits, compliance activities, and Lean daily management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in a PSM-covered, high-hazard, or chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading, supervising, or influencing manufacturing operations teams across multiple shifts and functions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures, safe work practices, operational discipline, hazardous-substance processes, and abnormal situation response.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, work management processes, production scheduling, and maintenance prioritization tools.
• Strong communication, change leadership, Lean daily management, visual management, and structured problem-solving skills.
