Maintenance and Engineering Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams to achieve strong Environmental, Health & Safety performance.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and condition-based maintenance.
• Develop asset reliability programs and oversee mechanical integrity compliance.
• Coordinate plant turnarounds, shutdowns, field inspections, and major maintenance projects.
• Manage contractors, maintenance procurement, MRO inventory, maintenance KPIs, and maintenance and capital expenditure budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, Visual Management, and reliability-focused methodologies while developing maintenance professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or asset management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and managing maintenance work management processes.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, Maintenance Engineering, and Mechanical Integrity concepts.
• Working knowledge of SAP Maintenance Module or similar CMMS/ERP systems, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools.
• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional, Certified Reliability Leader, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience managing capital projects and maintenance budgets.
• Experience supporting Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety Management programs in chemical manufacturing.
