Production Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; onsite process plant, office, and manufacturing environment

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day production and packaging operations for a dedicated building within the Los Angeles site.
• Embed active safety leadership, process safety, EHS compliance, incident reporting, near-miss investigations, and corrective actions.
• Deliver production output on time, in full, and to agreed quality in partnership with Supply Chain.
• Improve productivity, reliability, operational discipline, and housekeeping through daily management systems, 5S, and performance routines.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other continuous-improvement initiatives toward world-class site performance.
• Set expectations, coach performance, develop talent, and build accountability and respectful problem-solving across Production and Packaging teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree; Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in chemical manufacturing or a process environment.
• Experience leading operations with a strong safety mindset and influencing across functions during change.
• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods in manufacturing.
• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.
• State and federal approval or clearance to work with applicable controlled chemicals is required. Training will be provided for materials regulated under RCRA.
