Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois, United States

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Oversee and coordinate product processing and the timely, accurate production of finished goods.
• Monitor backorder reports and production schedules, coordinating resources to maintain service levels and minimize backorders.
• Create inventory transfers, production orders, required paperwork, and electronic receipts for finished goods.
• Maintain inventory integrity for components and finished products while ensuring applicable regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with product divisions on backordered and substitute items and provide backup support for production equipment, material handling, and warehouse operations.
• Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, training, performance management, and effective team staffing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of production experience.
• At least 1 year of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing employees.
• Experience as a department lead or supervisor is preferred.
• Previous SAP and Catalyst experience is preferred.
