Of Counsel (Employment Law)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite at the Charlotte office

What you will do

• Advise and defend employers in workplace investigations, administrative charges, and state and federal lawsuits.
• Defend discrimination claims and other employment-related matters.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitrations.
• Handle employment, contract, tort, and non-compete cases.
• Produce high-quality legal work independently while collaborating with litigation attorneys and staff.
• Contribute to larger cases and manage multiple matters as part of a team.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of experience preferred; employment law experience is advantageous.
• NC Bar admission preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail when handling document-intensive cases.
• Strong organizational and case management skills, including the ability to manage numerous cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
