Commercial Lines Sr Account Executive (Insurance)

Location: Phoenix or Tempe, Arizona, United States; hybrid work with frequent in-person client and underwriter meetings.

What you will do

• Manage 10–20 large and complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the primary day-to-day client contact.
• Market and place new and renewal Commercial Lines programs, prepare applications, identify suitable carriers, and compare quotes and coverage.
• Recommend insurance programs, manage renewal expirations, and prevent lapses in coverage.
• Negotiate with carriers, respond to underwriter questions, and process policies, endorsements, and audits.
• Provide technical guidance to clients, Sales Executives, Account Representatives, and Account Managers.
• Support cross-selling, account development, internal account strategy meetings, and frequent face-to-face client and underwriter meetings.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in a Commercial Lines insurance agency.
• Expert understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and client service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office; Sagitta or ImageRight knowledge is preferred.

• College degree.
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU.
• Knowledge of Sagitta or ImageRight.
