Account Executive (Commercial Lines)

What you will do

• Own the full renewal process for existing commercial accounts in partnership with Producers, including policy reviews, game plans, loss analysis, program design, and coverage or premium discrepancy resolution.
• Manage a book of business generating $900,000–$2 million in revenue.
• Lead work on three or more large or complex client accounts and maintain an in-depth understanding of client operations, strategies, and needs.
• Prepare and facilitate meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop marketing strategies, review submissions, and negotiate with underwriters to shape proposals.
• Support Producers in winning and setting up new business while developing carrier relationships.

Requirements

• Experience in insurance or a related industry relevant to the assigned book of business.
• Strategic thinking based on client priorities and marketplace cycles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing people, delegating work, and holding teams and partners accountable.
• Microsoft Office experience required, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel; Applied Epic experience preferred.
• At least one general insurance designation and ongoing technical knowledge of the insurance industry and client industries.
