What you will do

  • Lead the maintenance department and oversee approximately 40 exempt and non-exempt employees responsible for site maintenance and reliability.
  • Drive Environment, Health, and Safety compliance, incident reduction, accountability, training, and workforce development.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, cost control, reporting, records, work-order systems, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Plan and execute large maintenance turnarounds, emergency shutdowns, expansions, scheduling, staffing, contractors, and equipment requirements.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, EHS, Procurement, Accounting, maintenance planning teams, contractors, suppliers, and other hirify.global sites.
  • Ensure maintenance planning, scheduling, installation, and field activities follow established procedures, applicable codes, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 10+ years of supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing facility.
  • Experience managing large-scale turnaround projects from a maintenance perspective.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, organization, analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and standards, plus strong computer skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
