Maintenance Manager (Industrial Manufacturing)

Salary: $81,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead site maintenance and reliability activities, safety performance, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and develop maintenance employees, including training, qualifications, succession planning, and performance accountability.
• Build preventive and predictive maintenance programs, planning and scheduling processes, shutdown plans, and backlog management.
• Manage repair and maintenance budgets, capital projects, contractors, vendors, spare parts, and critical inventory.
• Analyze maintenance KPIs, downtime, condition data, costs, and recurring failures to improve asset performance and reduce lifecycle cost.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, Finance, and external service providers to improve production reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in maintenance, skilled trades, reliability, or engineering in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and managing internal resources, contractors, vendors, budgets, capital projects, and asset improvements.
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, electrical and mechanical drawings, maintenance reliability methods, and lifecycle cost management.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and demonstrated safety leadership; ability to support after-hours emergencies and planned shutdowns.
• Proficiency with CMMS or ERP systems and Microsoft Office; Oracle experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Papermaking or nonwovens manufacturing experience.
• Six Sigma or Green Belt certification.
• Oracle experience.
