Maintenance Supervisor (Petrochemical)

Location: Port Arthur, Texas, United States; plant-based position with on-call responsibility.

What you will do

• Lead, direct, and mentor the maintenance team across the Port Arthur and Westlake facilities.
• Coordinate with operations supervisors and planners to prioritize daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance activities.
• Develop maintenance solutions that balance safety, reliability, production impact, and operational readiness.
• Support the development, progression, and feedback of maintenance technicians and front-line leaders.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics, regulatory requirements, safety programs, backlog, preventive-maintenance compliance, and spending against budget.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on maintenance issues, capital recommendations, end-of-life assets, upgrades, audits, safety reviews, warehousing, and HYCO spare-parts inventory.

Requirements

• Technical trade-school training in instrumentation, mechanical, or electrical disciplines, or military technical training; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• At least 5 years of experience in a petrochemical or manufacturing environment in maintenance and/or operations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, technical, interpersonal, communication, organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Strong SAP skills are required.
• Experience with project management, structured work processes, and budget management is advantageous.
• Safety-sensitive, plant-based role with on-call responsibility.
