What you will do

• Find and evaluate daily news content for relevance, urgency, and audience impact.
• Organize and craft content and rundowns using strong editorial and creative judgment.
• Write and copy edit news scripts, and request or create graphics.
• Work with the news team on story selection and the overall editorial focus.
• Produce weather and breaking or developing news coverage.
• Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field.
• 3+ years of producing or relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage workflow efficiently.
• Ability to learn and use newsroom technology, with flexibility to work any shift.
