What you will do
- Research and produce daily story ideas for broadcast.
- Source content and manage logistics for live crews, story shoots, interviews, and priority events.
- Assign crews and provide the information needed for field coverage.
- Monitor potential breaking news and participate in coverage decisions for special news programs.
- Maintain clear communication with producers, field crews, agencies, reporters, and newsroom managers.
- Capture video feeds from the field, assist with troubleshooting, and coordinate story packages in line with station policies.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience working at an assignment desk.
- Extensive experience and proven strategies for sourcing and sharing content through social media.
- Fluent Spanish, including reading and writing.
- Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to eight hours.
