What you will do

• Develop strategies to reach and engage audiences on and off platform.
• Curate flagship daily newsletter products and create audience-focused editorial experiences.
• Use social media, including Instagram Stories, to distribute and break news.
• Shoot and edit vertical video optimized for social viewing.
• Analyze audience data to identify trends and insights.

Requirements

• Must be a college junior, senior or graduate student enrolled in a degree program by noon Eastern time on October 9, 2026.
• Commitment to accuracy, clarity and journalistic rigor.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, deadline-driven newsroom.
• Interest in connecting journalism with readers through multiple formats and mediums.
• Résumé, autobiographical essay of no more than 500 words, and portfolio with relevant work samples required.
