Associate Digital Platform Producer (MS NOW)

Location: Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C. or New York, NY. Weekend primetime shift covering afternoons and evenings, either Wednesday–Sunday or Friday–Tuesday. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Create and curate content across MS NOW’s linear, digital, streaming, and direct-to-consumer platforms.
• Write accurate, engaging headlines and package stories for audience engagement.
• Collaborate with show producers on video editorial content.
• Curate the MS NOW homepage, app, and social platforms with timely news content.
• Distribute content through Apple News, SmartNews, Flipboard, and other partner platforms.
• Produce and edit video and text content, A/B test headlines and story packaging, and monitor analytics to inform programming decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of production or editorial experience.
• Knowledge of current events, U.S. politics, geopolitics, foreign policy, and history.
• Sound journalistic judgment, strong organization, and effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple daily deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work in Washington, D.C. or New York, NY and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience in social media editorial or digital publishing across different platforms.
• Experience editing video for social platforms.
