Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; flexible work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field.

Base salary: €84,000–€126,000 per year, with potential bonus and annual refresh stock grants.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable network security controls, patterns, and templates across AWS, GCP, and private cloud environments.
• Build continuous monitoring and security posture enforcement systems using Terraform, Go, Python, and related automation tools.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive network security initiatives.
• Assess production infrastructure designs, define security requirements, and conduct network security assessments.
• Partner with Cybersecurity and Trust teams to develop and enforce policies aligned with CIS, NIST, and FedRAMP.
• Operate critical production security infrastructure, including DDoS detection, WAF, firewall, and cloud-native security controls.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in network security architecture and design.
• Hands-on experience deploying network security controls across AWS and/or GCP, including AWS Network Firewall, WAF, or GCP Cloud Armor.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, or Consul.
• Experience designing and managing secure multi-cloud and hybrid network architectures at scale.
• Experience with firewalls, WAF platforms, encryption, authentication, intrusion detection, incident response, and security-by-design practices.
• Experience with host-based security systems, large-scale data center networking, DDoS detection, IPS/IDS tooling, production on-call rotations, and industry security standards.

• Experience leveraging AI and agentic capabilities to standardize security control implementation across disparate systems.
