Security Engineer - Incident Response (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid (Dublin, Ireland) - Must work from the office 3 days per week

Salary: €70,000 - €107,800

What you will do

• Investigate security events using SIEM and SOAR technology across customer and corporate environments.
• Design alerts to monitor for anomalous behavior and establish strategies for threat detection and response.
• Respond to ongoing incidents, analyze historical compromises, and provide technical findings.
• Conduct reactive threat hunting via endpoint, network, application, and log analysis.
• Develop operational response playbooks and build security-focused tools and services.
• Provide mentorship and technical expertise to junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the security industry.
• Proven experience working with SIEM and SOAR technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud and container security, as well as infrastructure as code.
• Working understanding of malware analysis, reverse engineering, and host-based/memory forensics.
• Proficiency in network and web protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, or OSWP.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Python, Go, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and Web Application security.
• Familiarity with red & purple team exercises and cyber deception.
