Security Engineer - Incident Response (Cybersecurity)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid with three days per week in the Dublin office

Salary: €70,000–€107,800 EUR annual cash compensation

What you will do

• Investigate security events and ongoing incidents using SIEM and SOAR technologies.
• Design alerts and detection strategies for customer and corporate environments.
• Analyze endpoint, network, application, and log data during reactive threat hunting.
• Investigate historical compromises and deliver technical findings and recommendations.
• Build incident-response processes, operational playbooks, and security-focused tools and services.
• Mentor junior security team members and share insights that support new security features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the security industry.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud and container security, infrastructure as code, and web application security.
• Working knowledge of malware analysis, reverse engineering, host-based forensics, and memory forensics.
• Knowledge of network and web protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

Nice to have

• OSCP, OSCE, or OSWP certification.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, Go, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience with red and purple team exercises, adversary resilience, and cyber deception.
• Threat intelligence experience and awareness of current information security threats.
