Sr. Engineer, Forward Deployed GenAI

Salary: $128,000–$192,000 annually, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Embed with commercial, medical affairs, and data teams at biopharma and life sciences organizations to identify needs and translate them into engineered solutions.
• Rapidly prototype GenAI applications, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and data integrations using client data.
• Own delivery from discovery and whiteboarding through production-ready code, demonstrations, feedback, and handoff to product.
• Move between client engagements and product sprints as priorities change.
• Document reusable patterns, share playbooks, and feed field learnings back into the product.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience and a record of shipping production-quality systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Node.js and React, plus fluency with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud services.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating GenAI systems, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic architectures, or multimodal pipelines.
• Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders and handling client feedback in a client-facing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in life sciences or biotech is strongly preferred.
