Manager, Forward Deployed Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Hybrid in the United States, with residence required within reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location. Client engagements may require onsite work.

Base salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze client business needs and translate them into deployable AI solutions.
• Design and implement LLM-based systems, including autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces.
• Integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases, and existing business tools.
• Deploy, operate, and iterate on solutions in cloud environments and production settings.
• Support adoption through training, evangelization, active listening, and continuous collaboration with stakeholders.
• Bridge technical teams and business decision-makers while contributing to AI research, offerings, publications, and business development.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent advanced training in computer science, information processing, or a related field.
• Hands-on production experience with LLMs, advanced prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, and agent orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python and applied AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, or Anthropic SDK.
• Experience integrating APIs and connecting heterogeneous systems.
• Ability to deploy and operate solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
