Manager Value Stream

What you will do

• Lead daily value stream operations and continuous improvement activities, creating continuous product flow, applying pull systems, and leveling workloads.
• Ensure standardized work and processes are followed, countermeasures are implemented, and safety and first-time quality improve.
• Design and direct functional-area work, set objectives, and coach, develop, and manage the value stream team.
• Use PDCA and MDI processes, visual value streams, and Leader Standard Work to deliver improvements in people, safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
• Coordinate successful New Product Introductions within Operations and contribute to facility standards, programs, strategic plans, and best-practice sharing.
• Ensure effective employee training and cross-training to maintain smooth value stream operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive operations or lean management experience.
• Experience leading teams, managing performance, planning succession, and developing talent.
• Ability to deliver results across people, safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
