Value Stream Manager II or III (Aerospace)

Location: Burbank, California, United States; manufacturing environment

Salary: VSM II: $126,825–$166,773 per year; VSM III: $149,300–$194,200 per year. Performance-based bonus eligibility may apply.

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components for aerospace and defense applications, including brake control systems and cabin actuation solutions.

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional value stream team across order management, supply chain, scheduling, manufacturing, engineering, quality, finance, and program management.
• Drive daily accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth KPIs, including problem-solving and performance reporting.
• Lead kaizen events, lean manufacturing initiatives, 5S, standard work, and other continuous improvement activities.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement roadmaps aligned with the future-state vision and operational objectives.
• Mentor associates, support budget preparation and capital planning, and present performance results to executive leadership and customers.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Requirements

• VSM II: 5+ years supporting operations, including 3+ years of supervision; or VSM III: 10+ years supporting production control, manufacturing engineering, or operations management, including 3+ years of value stream management.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, manufacturing, strategic planning, resource allocation, and people leadership.
• Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving, judgment, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or a related field.
• Only US Persons will be considered where access to Controlled Data or Information is required under ITAR.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and use required personal protective equipment; up to 5% travel may be required.
