Value Stream Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Elyria, Ohio, United States; onsite at the Elyria facility

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets, including pumping and thermal management solutions.

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional value stream team to execute the Annual Operating Plan and support customer satisfaction.
• Drive daily performance reporting and problem-solving across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and growth KPIs.
• Lead kaizen events, lean initiatives, 5S, standard work, and other continuous improvement activities.
• Develop and implement the continuous improvement roadmap and future-state operational vision.
• Support budgets, long-range capital planning, operational cost management, and financial performance.
• Develop and mentor associates while preparing operational reviews for executives and customers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience directly supporting operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or a related field.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, manufacturing costs, strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership.
• Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving, judgment, decision-making, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Only US Persons may be considered where access to Controlled Data or Information is required, in accordance with ITAR requirements.
• Background check completion is required; FAA-sensitive positions may require participation in a random drug testing pool.

• At least 2 years of supervision experience.
