MCPP Philippines: Engineer Maintenance Supervisor (Military Equipment)

Location: Initial training and onboarding in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by placement in Subic Bay, Philippines.

What you will do

• Supervise mechanics performing maintenance, repair, adjustment, servicing, and storage of engineering equipment and motor vehicles.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities in accordance with the contract Statement of Work and Marine Corps policies.
• Monitor equipment readiness, organize the maintenance shop, and control maintenance assets, facilities, personnel, and resources.
• Manage repair-parts inventories, review requisitions and invoices, and plan replacement-stock requirements.
• Train mechanics, assign work based on priorities, inspect completed work, and ensure compliance with schedules and specifications.
• Maintain ISO policies and procedures while enforcing safety, administrative, personnel, and government requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree or coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; equivalent education, training, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in maintenance and logistics support for engineering equipment, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Valid state motor vehicle driver’s license, U.S. passport, and ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain a Philippines work visa and Alien Employment Permit, and pass an FBI background investigation.

• USMC MOS 1169/1349.
• Knowledge of Marine Corps policies, regulations, orders, and military supply procedures.
• Industry certification, automation and scripting experience, and expert knowledge of military tactical equipment maintenance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
