Automotive manufacturing company operating a plant with production equipment and maintenance operations.
What you will do
- Supervise maintenance employees and coordinate daily work in a manufacturing environment.
- Plan work assignments, establish procedures, train employees, and address performance or workplace issues.
- Implement and maintain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and downtime reports.
- Coordinate equipment site preparation, create preventive maintenance plans for new equipment, and support plant engineering.
- Coordinate outside contractors and provide 24/7 operational support to staff and Engineering.
- Support safety, ergonomic, environmental, and sustainability initiatives, including audits, safety walks, and incident investigations.
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in Normal, United States.
- Availability for the 2nd shift, from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
- Experience supervising maintenance employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze and resolve equipment and work-process problems.
- Ability to enforce safety rules, report unsafe conditions, and participate in safety committees, audits, and Kaizen events.
- Ability to complete 8D investigations, apply the 5 Whys, and document root causes.
